The BSc (Hons) Tournament Golf is a three-year full-time degree programme designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the world of professional golf. The programme includes winter training in Portugal during the second semester of each year, providing a unique blend of academic study and practical experience.
To be eligible for the BSc (Hons) Tournament Golf course, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- UCAS Points: 80 UCAS points from AS and A-Levels (at least 32 points must be at A2-level) or relevant Level 3 qualification, such as BTEC National Diploma / BTEC Extended Diploma with PPP grades (specific unit grades may be requested).
- Access to HE Diplomas: 45 credits at Level 3 in a relevant subject (specific unit grades may be requested).
- GCSEs: Grade C/grade 4 or above in English Language and Mathematics. Alternatives at Level 2 may be considered.
- Mature Applicants: Relevant experience but without the stated qualifications will be considered individually and are encouraged to apply.
- Golf Handicap: A golf handicap of 5 or better on entry is required.
- Tuition Fees: £9,250 per year.
- Additional Programme Costs: £10,500 to cover accommodation, unlimited golf, use of all resort facilities, weekly internal competitive golf events, coaching and performance management, liaison with your existing coach when required, opportunity to play in the Portugal Pro Golf Tour events, and airport transfers in Portugal.
- Initial Deposit: £500 (deducted from your final year programme costs).
- Accommodation Deposit: £250.
